Let me start by saying Market Place has offered, from day one, a shopping experience I’ve never seen—not in New Mexico, not anywhere. But beyond the size, selection, and variety, what truly sets it apart is the people. Nicholas in the deli took my order. I’m from Pittsburgh—we eat chipped ham. Around here, nobody really knows what that is, which is understandable. After 15 years, I stopped even asking. Today I did—and Nicholas nailed it like he grew up behind the counter at Giant Eagle in Bloomfield. At checkout, Gail greeted me with a warm smile, unaware that my family had experienced a tragedy just 45 minutes earlier. Within moments, she showed genuine empathy and kindness that I didn’t expect—but won’t forget. And it didn’t stop there. As I headed to return my cart, Ezekiel practically raced over from the far end of the lot to take it from me. A grocery store is just four walls and shelves. What Market Place has built in Rio Rancho goes far beyond that—because of the people. To management: you’ve assembled something special. To your staff: thank you for going far beyond what anyone expects.

Really like Albertsons but saw national survey that said that Albertsons is more expensive than Kroger's (Smiths) and WalMart! Starting to consider if we shop elsewhere!

So far I'm really impressed. They have a sushi special Monday and Wednesday and it's really good in my opinion. They're not great rolls or built with care but they're fresh and tasty and fit the need. The prices are higher than Walmart. Somewhere vertebrae Albertsons and smiths and higher end stores like whole foods. We bought cakes here and they're good and we got some custom ones made for this upcoming weekend so we'll see how that goes. But the price was decent. It's clean and i got asked numerous times if I needed help by employees. The carts all work and are picked up from the parking lot regularly. I have enjoyed my 3 visits thus far and expect to return weekly.

Target is overpriced like everywhere else. Staff is difficult to find when you need help, but they're everywhere when you don't. Good luck in the electronics department. Albertsons is my go-to place for only groceries (meats are half the price of Smith's) and roses (Mother's Day). The flowers last 3x longer than the ones my brothers had sent to my mom. $10/1 dozen at the time. Heaven Dragon is my favorite go-to Togo chinese food. Love the D5 combo: Sweet & Sour Pork w/Fried Rice and an Eggroll. Pair that with Wonton soup, or a Crab Rangoon and I'll me stuffed & smiling.
